Parenting Support

Parenting is one of the most rewarding, challenging, and fulfilling journey!

Children don’t come with a manual or rule book, and every family’s needs are unique! Parenting support aims to provide individualized guidance and practical tools tailored to your family’s goals and values.

Together, we focus on helping you better understand your child’s behavior, develop curiosity about what drives it, examine your own experience, and build strategies that nurture emotion regulation and positive connection. Through this process, parents often find that daily struggles decrease, communication improves, and the entire family begins to thrive.

Parenting support can lead to meaningful and long-lasting improvements in your child’s academic performance, executive functioning, behavior at home and school, social interactions, and daily life skills while strengthening your confidence as a parent.

Neuropsychological Examinations

We specialize in testing of ADHD, autism, and learning disabilities. We aim to provide clarity about diagnosis, provide a tailored approach to support your unique strengths and challenges, and help with school planning.

A neuropsychological examination is a comprehensive assessment designed to help you gain valuable insights into yours or your child’s brain functioning as it relates to their thinking, emotions, and behavior. It takes a comprehensive look at a range of cognitive abilities including attention, processing speed, memory, language, problem solving, reasoning, visual spatial skills, and executive functioning.

The goal of the assessment is to identify cognitive strengths and areas for growth in brain-based functioning to better understand an individual’s current cognitive profile, which helps guide treatment planning, and clarity regarding diagnosis.

The process:

  1. You will complete an  intake, where we gain detailed information about medical and developmental history, mental health history, education/occupation, and current concerns.

  2. Neuropsychological examination - you will complete a series of objective tests tailored to your needs. We will assess cognitive functioning, academics, attention, memory, and more.

  3. Follow up - after completing the assessment you will meet with one of our providers to discuss and review your results, review treatment recommendations, and  answer questions.

Academic Readiness

Are you uncertain about whether your child is truly ready for the next step into kindergarten or early elementary school? That uncertainty is completely understandable as each child develops at their own pace and it's natural to wonder whether your child’s attention, language, motor skills, or social-emotional abilities are where they need to be.

A school readiness assessment is a proactive and supportive tool to better understand your child’s developmental profile before they start school. This assessment will provide a comprehensive picture of areas that set students up for success such as  cognition, attention, emotion regulation, learning abilities, language development, problem solving, and social interaction.

Once we identify your child’s areas of strengths and areas needing support we can provide strategies to help make your child’s transition into school smoother and build their confidence.
